This Sudanese family’s reunion is so breathtakingly beautiful, that we cried buckets of happy tears while witnessing it. Dyan, the father in the video was separated from his family and stuck in a refugee camp for the last four years. It was traumatic and he did not believe he would ever see his family again. Meanwhile his pregnant wife and their two kids were accepted and settled in the United States. The wife received support and help from two kind hearted women named, Mary Claire, and Molly, who volunteer in a church home group that helps refugees. The experience affected them all profoundly as you can see in the video.
The emotions at the reunion run so high that viewers can feel the intense overwhelming joy, and love the family is experiencing. When Dyan gets down on his knees humbling himself before God, thanks and praises Him, his uninhibited show of gratitude and faith is enormously moving and reminded us of this Bible verse.
John 12:34 I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.
We are so happy for this family and pray that God blesses them with a long and happy life together. God is good!
