Desperate people, in dire circumstances, do impulsive things when they feel they have no alternative! That is exactly how the impoverished little boy in the video must have felt. At some point a lot of people can remember a time in their life when they felt desperate to get help, and would have done anything possible to help a loved one.
What the restaurant owner does is admirable. He does not approve of the stealing and pays for the items, but instead of judging, he asks why do you need these things? With compassion he helps people like the boy, his mother, and later the beggar with food, rather than condemning and judging. He gives generously from a pure heart expecting nothing in return. What he does is loves his neighbor, and he stores his treasure eternally in heaven. Then when he needs it most on earth it gets paid back ten fold to him.

Just think what an incredible world it would be if we all helped each other instead of turning a blind eye, hating, condemning, or judging. This world would be a much better, and transformed place.
