When artist Serge Bello started piecing together this colored rainwater, cup mosaic, we had no idea what it was going to turn out to look like. The mosaic is 3,6000 square feet and there are 66,000 cups of colored rainwater in total, and it is a reminder to us all of the world wide clean water crisis. The vibrant colors are meant to symbolize the different amounts of impurities in water all over the world. Serge wanted to bring attention to the importance of clean drinking water even while a baby is in the womb. As you can see in the video he pulled this incredible mosaic together beautifully!
