Amber Simone Chinn was born with a birth defect that nearly cost her the wonderful singing voice she has. The condition she had was called, left craniosynostosis. Her skull was not properly developed, and it caused her left eye to move downward. At six months she had corrective surgery. After surgery when the breathing tube was removed she was having a hard time breathing, and doctors thought they would have to do a tracheotomy. Miraculously Amber did start to breathe on her own.
