When Mitchell McGuire and Luciana left their home one fateful day they had no idea the tragedy they were going to be called home for. Their 7 year old daughter, Ariana had been accidentally shot with an arrow from a compound bow by their 9 year old neighbor. Arianna suffered a stroke from the arrow penetrating her brain, and was put into a medically induced coma for two weeks. When she began to decline they slowly brought her out of the coma, and removed her breathing tube. Thankfully, she was able to breathe on her own. Arianna couldn’t speak or walk after she woke up. With the support of her loving family, and the team at The Children’s Miracle Network Hospital she has determinedly clawed her way back, and her story is so inspiring!
After watching this video we also had to admire how incredible the human body is, especially the way it can heal after something so devastating can happen to it. It truly is a testament to how incredibly our creator, God The Father has made us, and it reminded us of The Bible verse, Psalm 139:13 For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;(NAB)
