Have you heard about the coolest new trend? Surprisingly it is not clothes, music or cars, but it is something far more satisfying, and rewarding.
Luke 6:31 “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”
Random acts of kindness have been catching on lately in a big, wonderful way! Deborah Doral was so touched by the actions of her customers she cried all the way home after. She had witnessed something that changed her outlook on humanity forever, and learned a huge lesson.
Acts 20:35 “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
When a family of three found themselves in an awkward situation the lady in front of them discreetly did something beautiful, expecting nothing in return. That love for her fellow humans tipped off a chain reaction. Acts of kindness are becoming the latest trend in this world. They are popping up all over the internet.
In Mathew 10:42 Jesus tells us how just the small act of giving a cup of water is a kindness God sees, and he rewards! Many parents should be very proud, as a lot of teens are coming forward as pier examples, doing these kind deeds. Helping others is so gratifying. In our hearts we get a sense of inner knowing this is the way we are supposed to be living with each other helping, and loving one another. If every one of us practiced kindness all the time, we could wipe out things like hunger, poverty, and homelessness. Societal change begins with every one of us. Each of us can make a huge difference in the lives of others. Walking on a new path always begins with that first step, I invite all of you to take that first step with me. I want to encourage everyone to continue trying to do at least one kind act every day.
