A prime example of a wasted space is often above the doors in homes. A decorative and functional shelf can often be put above a door way. The rolling rack that slides out from beside the refrigerator is a great idea. It maximizes that tiny space which is usually wasted in a convenient way.
Another idea we liked was the industrial metal shelves, as the pot lids were able to be stacked upright with utensils right below, and because the shelves are made of metal bars there will be minimal dusting needed unlike a flat shelf.
